Oh merciful Saint Peterbilt, just when I thought that this world couldn’t get any more screwed up, I finally went online and entered a chat room.
I know that must seem weird; like I’m the last person on the planet to go ahead and take the plunge. In truth, it seems odd to me, in a way. After all, I have friends who have met their wives and husbands on the Internet. Actually, I know a LOT of wives who have found their husbands on the Internet…after twenty or so years of marriage!

Going to school is great, but as my dad used to tell me, eventually you are going to have to get a real job. I am guessing that since you went to a trucking school your first choice is not going to be fashion design, so what are your options in the Freight Relocation Industry? Believe it or not, your field is wide open, provided that what you want to do is drive a truck all over the place and never see home again.

Just in case you’ve been living under a mushroom for the last year or so, there is going to be a big truck show out in Dallas at the end of September. If you’re planning to attend, make sure you look for me — I’ll probably be the one being escorted out by security. Why? Dunno yet, but I assume that it will have something to do with drooling all over those nice big show trucks with all the pretty lights and blinding chrome…
